The TurboReel inspection light is similar to the series 9000x except for use with a 110-220 volt outlet. It has a totally encapsulated transformer that lowers the “in hand” current to 12 volts. Ideal for use in OSHA required areas. Light has no exposed metal parts.

Wet Location Hazards: The presence of moisture in a confined space presents the hazard of electrocution to a worker. Under OSHA 1926.404B, the use of low voltage lighting or the use of GFCI protection to protect the worker is a requirement.

Transformers take the shock out of High Voltage: The safety factor created by the use of low voltage equipment is present because the reduction of voltage has a direct correlation to the reduction of current that would be passed through the body.
